About the role
This position involves physically performing and supporting cargo operations at a terminal and container yard. The role is focused on safe, efficient handling of containers, railway wagons, trucks and other equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload containers, railway wagons, trucks and other cargo.
- Maintain cleanliness of the operational area and premises on a regular basis.
- Execute load and unload procedures according to internal standard operating procedures.
- Perform marking tasks during cargo handling as required.
- Carry out container securing and release operations following safety rules and standard procedures.
- Inspect container seals before departure.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar cargo‑handling or terminal position.
- Ability to work physically in a fast‑paced environment.
