DCS Operator

About the role

The DCS Operator will monitor and control the plant’s processes through the Distributed Control System (DCS) at our fertilizer and chemical production facility. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Tbilisi and is essential for safe, efficient and reliable operation of equipment and production units.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust process parameters and respond to alarms via the DCS.
• Coordinate with field operators during start‑up, shutdown and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and technical teams to optimise plant performance and product quality.

Required profile

• Strong process‑control background with experience in distillation and continuous‑process environments such as refineries.
• Hands‑on experience operating Distributed Control System platforms in an industrial control room.
• Technical education in chemical, process or industrial engineering (vocational or degree level preferred).
• Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations and emergency response procedures in chemical or fertilizer production.
• Ability to work shifts, maintain focus in high‑responsibility settings and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams.
