Computer Teacher

About the role

The Montessori School of Georgia seeks a passionate Computer Teacher to deliver engaging computer science and digital literacy lessons. You will work on‑site in Tbilisi, collaborating with families and staff to foster a supportive, curiosity‑driven learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement age‑appropriate curricula covering basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Introduce programming concepts and guide students through hands‑on projects.
• Integrate technology into interdisciplinary classroom activities.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain inclusive classroom standards.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and familiarity with educational technologies.
• Practical programming experience suitable for teaching children and adolescents.
• Proven teaching experience, preferably in Montessori or child‑centered settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Georgian is an advantage.
