Category Manager

About the role

Minty Market is looking for a proactive Category Manager to join our on‑site team in Tbilisi. You will shape category strategies, optimise product assortments and drive profitability while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Manage product assortments to maintain optimal mix and availability.
• Conduct market analysis and monitor category performance.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to stimulate category growth.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in product offerings.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in category management and procurement.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate market trends and performance data.
• Experience in sales and understanding of sales strategies.
• Demonstrated success in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent organisational, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Retail or FMCG experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, on‑site team environment.
