Category Development Manager – Fish Category

About the role

The Category Development Manager (Fish) will lead the growth of the fish product portfolio across organized retail networks in Georgia. Reporting to senior management, you will build strong relationships with key accounts, introduce new products, and drive sales performance while ensuring optimal shelf visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and maintain long‑term cooperation with Key Accounts, achieving agreed sales plans.
• Manage the fish category assortment, integrate new products into retail listings.
• Plan and execute promotional activities (discounts, campaigns) together with retail partners and monitor results.
• Control shelf placement standards and maximize shelf share for fish products.
• Monitor product residues in stores and prevent supply interruptions.
• Analyse competitor activities and pricing in the local market to inform strategy.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Category Manager or in sales management (FMCG/food sector preferred).
• Good understanding of the structure and specifics of working with organized retail networks.
• Strong negotiation, persuasive communication and presentation abilities.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in English and Russian is desirable.
