Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

LATICRETE International is seeking a motivated Buyer to manage the procurement of goods and services that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets while supporting optimal inventory levels. The role works closely with Planning, Operations, Finance, and suppliers to execute demand‑driven purchasing plans.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adjust stocking models based on demand forecasts, lead times, logistics and supplier capabilities (35% of time).
• Identify inventory risks such as potential stockouts and communicate mitigation options.
• Maintain purchasing master data, including lead times, order multiples and safety stock.
• Execute MRP action messages, create and manage purchase orders, and coordinate inbound logistics to meet required dates (30% of time).
• Track order status, confirm acknowledgments, and keep stakeholders informed of changes.
• Resolve day‑to‑day supplier issues related to price, delivery, and invoicing.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement and inventory management within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills to assess demand signals and adjust stocking models.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MRP systems.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and purchase order creation.
• Inventory management techniques.
