Air Conditioning Technology Adjunct Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach Air Conditioning Technology at Chattahoochee Technical College. The position supports the Air Conditioning Technical Certificate of Credit and Diploma programs on the Marietta, Canton or Bartow County campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and laboratory sessions covering air‑conditioning theory and practice.
• Provide student advisement, evaluate progress, and maintain required documentation.
• Set up and take down lab equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Technical Studies & Engineering Technologies and the Dean of Business and Technical Studies.

Required profile

• Minimum a Diploma in Air Conditioning from a technical or community college.
• Two years of industry experience or relevant training/certifications (preferred).
• Official or unofficial transcripts submitted via EZHr.
• Preference for an Associate Degree in a related field and a State of Georgia Conditioned Air license.
