Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

The Accounts Payable Accountant at Hilton Batumi ensures accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with Hilton financial policies and international accounting standards. Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, this role collaborates closely with internal departments and external suppliers to support smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices and payments, matching them with purchase orders and supporting documents.
• Reconcile supplier statements, identify discrepancies, and assist with vendor management and new supplier setup.
• Prepare invoices, prepayments, accruals, and journal entries.
• Support month‑end closing, reconciliations, and maintain accurate vendor records and accounts payable accounts.
• Ensure full compliance with Hilton financial policies and international accounting standards.
• Collaborate effectively with finance and operational departments to ensure seamless financial workflows.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting; hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with accounting systems and basic accounting principles.
