Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities at LBC Mortgage, a growing mortgage brokerage. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution to ensure smooth workflows across sales, processing, underwriting, marketing and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the company's daily operations.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve operational processes and SOPs.
• Coordinate workflows between Sales, Processing, Underwriting, Marketing and other departments.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and operational KPIs.
• Identify inefficiencies, resolve bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
• Establish clear procedures, responsibilities and accountability across departments.
• Manage and optimise internal systems, tools and technology platforms.
• Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy and execution.
• Track key operational metrics and prepare regular management reports.
• Support department managers and team leads in achieving company goals.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training and performance management as needed.
• Improve communication and collaboration between departments and create a scalable operational structure.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations Management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong experience working in the U.S. business environment.
• Mortgage or financial services experience highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage teams and cross‑functional workflows.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems and business software.
