Academic Services Assistant / ESL Classroom Observer

About the role

We are seeking an Academic Services Assistant who will act as an ESL Classroom Observer. In this position you will travel to partner schools, watch English lessons and help raise the overall quality of language instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Observe English as a Second Language (ESL/EFL) lessons using a structured, evidence‑based framework.
• Identify teaching strengths and areas for development, focusing on communicative language teaching and modern ELT methodology.
• Provide constructive, professional feedback to teachers in a diplomatic manner.
• Document observations and contribute to reports that support continuous improvement across partner schools.

Required profile

• Previous experience teaching English to learners of other languages.
• Strong knowledge of communicative language teaching and contemporary ELT approaches.
• Excellent analytical, observational and interpersonal abilities.
• Organised, reliable and willing to travel to various school locations as needed.
