Warehouse and Distribution Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse and Distribution Manager for a leading food products manufacturer. The role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and expedition activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products from the warehouse to the retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and control daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch.
• Manage inventory accuracy, monitor product movement, and ensure precise order fulfilment.
• Coordinate loading of transport vehicles, route planning, and GPS tracking optimisation.
• Supervise warehouse staff and driver‑expeditors, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Identify and analyse causes of delayed, incomplete or problematic deliveries.
• Oversee returns processing, inventory audits, and loss‑prevention initiatives.
• Prepare analytical reports for the Operations Director and collaborate with other company units.

Required profile

• Higher education in Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Economics or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse, logistics or expedition functions.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Practical knowledge of warehouse and delivery processes.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Data analysis and KPI management.
• Experience with GPS tracking and route optimisation tools.
