Technical Service Representative I

About the role

LATICRETE International is seeking a Technical Service Representative I to provide expert technical assistance to architects, contractors, and distributors. The role focuses on material selection, blueprint review, and delivering technical documentation for high‑performance tile and stone installation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Advise architects, contractors, and distributors on proper material selection for specific applications.
• Review architectural blueprints, details, and specifications to recommend suitable products.
• Draft specifications, details, and technical literature for design and construction professionals.
• Conduct seminars and presentations for architects, distributors, and contractors.
• Investigate and resolve customer service and product complaints within authorized limits.
• Process input from sales/field personnel, maintain job files, and forward qualified leads to the sales team.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with technical support of building materials.
• Physical ability to lift and carry at least 50 lb frequently.
• Fluency in a second language is preferred.
• Professional conduct and strong customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Technical support of building‑material products.
• Blueprint and specification analysis.
• Knowledge of architecture and construction practices and materials.
• Familiarity with LATICRETE products and competitive materials.
• Technical communication and presentation abilities.
