Technical Design Manager

About the role

The Technical Design Manager coordinates and leads architectural and multidisciplinary design activities across the entire project lifecycle. The role ensures that design deliverables are technically sound, compliant with regulations, and aligned with project budgets, schedules, and quality standards for residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed‑use developments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate design activities from concept through construction support.
• Review drawings, specifications, reports, and design submissions for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, interior, façade, and other specialist disciplines.
• Identify and resolve design coordination issues, constructability concerns, and technical risks.
• Monitor design progress and support achievement of project milestones.
• Work with consultants and internal stakeholders to close design comments promptly.
• Support preparation and review of consultant scopes, design briefs, and technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, authority requirements, and industry standards.
• Maintain design documentation, review trackers, and approval records.
• Provide technical support during construction, reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs.
• Prepare periodic progress updates and reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's degree is a plus).
• Experience in residential, hospitality, commercial, or mixed‑use developments.
• Experience working with developers, consultants, or multidisciplinary design teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with BIM platforms.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
