Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Trading Platform

About the role

Devexperts is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the team that builds and supports large‑scale trading platforms. You will ensure high availability, automate deployments, and provide seamless monitoring for financial software used by institutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to prototype and design new infrastructure features.
• Deploy, install, configure, and maintain sophisticated trading and finance applications.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for bare‑metal and cloud instances using Ansible or Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage Nexus and GIT repositories.
• Make architectural decisions to improve scalability, reliability, and accessibility.
• Install and manage monitoring and logging systems such as Zabbix, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Design, provision, and configure cloud‑based servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and storage.
• Administer UNIX/Linux infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in SRE or DevOps roles.
• Strong background in Linux/UNIX system administration.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) and container orchestration (Docker, OpenShift, HashiCorp).
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and networking concepts.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
