Senior Legal Officer (Russian Speaking)

About the role

TechBiz Global is recruiting a Senior Legal Officer for a client operating across multiple jurisdictions. The role is based in Batumi and requires fluency in English and Russian, offering the chance to shape legal strategy in a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local and international legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on business operations.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes across different jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel when needed.
• Support corporate governance and internal policy development.
• Identify legal risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's degree a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in an in‑house contract department, corporate secretarial function, or an international law firm.
• Fluency in English; Russian is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience working with multiple jurisdictions (e.g., Dubai, UK, Europe).
• Solid understanding of international regulatory frameworks; MiFID II experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and independent work capabilities.
