Senior Controller

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced accounting leader to oversee core accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and the month‑end close. The Senior Controller will ensure accurate U.S. GAAP reporting, strengthen processes, and work closely with senior leadership on cash‑flow planning, budgeting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee accounting controls and identify opportunities to strengthen financial processes.
• Lead, manage, and develop members of the accounting team.
• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records within QuickBooks Online.
• Improve accounting workflows, procedures, and internal controls as the business grows.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial reporting and business insights.
• Help ensure accounting operations remain accurate, scalable, and well documented.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or comparable accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ownership of month‑end close and general ledger processes.
• Experience managing or mentoring an accounting team.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities.
• Experience supporting budgeting and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
