Senior Advanced Product Engineer

About the role

Scientific Games is seeking two Senior Advanced Product Engineers to join a high‑impact product pod. You will work on strategic initiatives, building new products from scratch and modernising legacy systems while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver new products, prototypes, integrations and production capabilities aligned with business opportunities.
• Improve existing legacy codebases by enhancing testability, interfaces, observability, automation and maintainability.
• Utilise AI coding tools and agentic workflows to accelerate code generation, testing, documentation, refactoring and debugging.
• Translate ambiguous product intent into clear specifications, acceptance criteria, interface contracts, test plans and release criteria.
• Implement disciplined automated testing (TDD, ATDD, unit, integration, contract, regression) and fast feedback loops via CI/CD, feature flags, preview environments and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, security and domain experts to make practical trade‑offs and ensure production‑ready releases.
• Help define engineering standards, AI‑assisted development patterns and test strategies for the team.

• Proven experience building and shipping software in fast‑moving product teams.
• Strong product mindset with the ability to turn vague ideas into concrete, scalable solutions.
• Excellent judgment for technical decisions and a focus on long‑term quality.
