Sales Operations Team Lead

About the role

Girteka Group is looking for a Sales Operations Team Lead to design, lead, and optimise a customer‑facing operation that turns service interactions into sales opportunities while keeping high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage team workload, ensure proper staffing and coverage, and flag resource gaps.
• Set targets, monitor performance and drive achievement of team and individual objectives.
• Implement sales plans for existing customers and support new‑business development.
• Collaborate with Sales to strengthen relationships and identify value‑added opportunities.
• Delegate tasks, set deadlines and ensure high‑quality service delivery with continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs (load/unload, quality, performance) and guarantee timely freight movement and issue resolution.
• Manage client relationships, gather feedback (including NPS) and act on insights.
• Oversee financial aspects such as payment control, debt prevention and revenue collection.
• Lead team development through recruitment, training, performance reviews and fostering a positive culture.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements, handling escalations as needed.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Experience in Customer Care and/or Sales within a customer‑focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations and organisational processes.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• High motivation, accountability and results orientation.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
• High emotional intelligence, adaptability and commitment to continuous development.
• Fluency in English and higher education in any field.
