About the role

The Cash Officer will join the Cash and Valuables department of a leading Georgian bank, ensuring the safe handling, transport and processing of cash in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in cash collection and in‑collection processes and execute related operations.
• Prepare cash collection bags and ensure their receipt, transfer, storage, hand‑over or sorting.
• Monitor cash inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare documentation for cash operations and perform cash counting.
• Support cash/in‑collection operations by responding to issues and incidents.
• Produce periodic reports for the supervisor on task progress and performance.

Required profile

• Preferably holds a higher education degree.
• Experience in salary, cash handling or related activities is desirable.
• Fluent in Georgian; knowledge of Russian and English is a plus.
• High sense of responsibility, attention to detail and ability to work quickly.
• Organised, punctual and capable of working in a busy, dynamic environment.
• Strong teamwork orientation.
