RN - Acute Care Orthopedic Surgical Night Shift (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our acute care team dedicated to orthopedic surgery patients. This full‑time position works the night shift and offers the opportunity to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care within a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide relationship‑based, patient‑centered care that respects cultural and population‑specific needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support shared decision‑making.
• Document care accurately, promote teamwork, and contribute to performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor for peers and nursing students.
• Participate in evidence‑based practice, research activities, and policy compliance.
• Assist in protocol development and resource management to enhance care quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Less than one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and a commitment to professional growth.
