RN – Acute Care – Cardiac Telemetry – Full‑Time Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our acute care cardiac telemetry unit on the night shift. The RN will deliver safe, patient‑centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, applying evidence‑based practices to a diverse adult population.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and supporting shared decision‑making.
• Coordinate and document care, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to promote interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor to new staff, fostering a competent nursing workforce.
• Advocate for resource management and continuity of care across the patient journey.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state) and BLS certification.
• Minimum two years of direct patient care experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer‑service abilities.
• Commitment to professional development and participation in quality and safety programs.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
