Risk Analyst

About the role

CoreStar is seeking a Risk Analyst to join its fast‑growing technology team. You will work closely with fraud detection, compliance and customer support units to safeguard the company’s platforms and customers from fraudulent activity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transactions and customer activity to spot fraudulent patterns.
• Conduct risk assessments on new and existing accounts to evaluate potential threats.
• Escalate complex cases to senior staff and collaborate with compliance and KYC teams for deeper investigation.
• Assist the customer support department to ensure swift resolution of fraud cases.
• Analyze fraud trends and propose strategies to improve prevention procedures.
• Document findings, maintain case records, and prepare reports for management and regulators.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fraud prevention, risk analysis, AML, or compliance.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities with a keen eye for data anomalies.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
