Remote Claims Specialist (Healthcare Insurance)

About the role

Pharmbills is looking for a detail‑oriented Claims Specialist to process and review healthcare insurance claims remotely. You will work closely with providers and U.S. insurance teams to ensure claims are accurate, compliant, and resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process healthcare insurance claims in line with regulations.
• Investigate discrepancies and claim denials, coordinating with providers and insurers to resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed records of claim activities, payments, follow‑ups, and communications.
• Handle denied claims, identify root causes, and support resubmissions or appeals.
• Generate reports on claim status and trends to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based healthcare teams to streamline claim processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities and pattern‑recognition skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Professional English communication (B2+ level).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with healthcare claims, billing, or insurance processes is a plus.
• Willingness to work aligned with U.S. time zones.
