Quality Control Parts Engineering Specialist – Interior/Exterior

About the role

The Quality Control Parts Engineering Specialist ensures that interior and exterior automotive components supplied by vendors meet the highest quality standards. Working within HMGMA’s innovative EV production environment, you will lead inspections, drive continuous improvement, and support new vehicle projects.

Key responsibilities

• Execute operation plans to guarantee part quality per specifications, including field claim analysis, supplier management, and part inspection.
• Analyze root causes of part issues, lead improvement activities, and organize quality meetings.
• Manage quality facilities and equipment, oversee investment costs, and implement supplementary investments.
• Prepare, consult on, and coordinate external events related to quality assurance.
• Participate in new vehicle projects by preparing inspections, establishing quality‑securing plans, and responding to evaluations.
• Monitor vehicle faults and ensure procedures and computerized systems comply with standards and legal requirements.
• Plan, control, and monitor corrective actions for non‑conformities identified in audits.
• Produce reports, timelines, and technical support to enhance the management system.
• Handle product certifications, maintain certification plans, and generate troubleshooting reports.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications for interior and exterior systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in automotive supplier part quality.
• In‑depth understanding of quality management systems.
