Python Solutions Architect (GenAI)

About the role

Provectus, a global AI and cloud consulting firm, is looking for a senior Python Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of GenAI‑powered solutions. You will work with cutting‑edge foundation models, guide engineering teams, and translate business needs into production‑ready AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end development of AI agents, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and Python micro‑services.
• Own solution architecture, make trade‑off decisions, and ensure scalability on AWS (or GCP).
• Lead client discovery, translate ambiguous requirements into technical components, and produce phased delivery plans.
• Mentor engineers, enforce testing standards, and champion best practices in MLOps.
• Estimate costs, optimize cloud spend, and manage deployment of LLM models in production.

Required profile

• 7+ years building and operating production systems, not just demos or POCs.
• Full‑stack mindset across AI, backend development, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proactive, self‑directed, and comfortable collaborating in multicultural, distributed teams.
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+).

Required skills

• Python (OOP, design patterns, clean architecture, performance optimization).
• RESTful API frameworks: FastAPI, Django REST, Flask.
• Testing tools: pytest, mocking, integration testing.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• LLM APIs: OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock; experience building LLM‑based applications and agentic workflows.
• RAG system design and evaluation techniques.
• Cloud platforms: AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, ECR) – GCP considered.
• Frontend basics: React or Vue; optional prototyping with Streamlit or Gradio.
• Modern Python tooling: ruff, uv, pyproject.toml, pyright.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud cost optimization.
