About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supports patient recovery and mobility improvements under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality care while adhering to ethical and safety standards to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adjust treatment plans to restore or enhance mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and follow‑up referrals.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and follow departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality, cost‑effective care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain confidentiality, punctuality, professionalism, dress code, and infection‑control practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and team meetings.
• Foster a positive environment through excellent customer service and teamwork.

Required profile

• Associates degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Licenses and certifications including PTA and BLS or equivalent.
• Effective communication, customer‑service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
