Payment Risk & Anti-Fraud Specialist

About the role

This role protects GR8_TECH's financial flows and optimises payment health in real time. You will minimise fraud exposure and operational friction by owning end‑to‑end payment processing analysis, deposit/withdrawal risk decisions and transaction monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse full transactional flows across deposits, withdrawals and payment histories to spot anomalies, suspicious behaviour and operational errors.
• Review high‑value and high‑risk transactions in real time, making evidence‑based approve/decline decisions to control financial exposure.
• Investigate complex payment cases, manage multiple urgent alerts and maintain audit‑ready documentation for all decisions.
• Identify root causes of fraud, configuration gaps or gateway failures and provide structured feedback to improve risk‑tool setups.
• Communicate findings and decisions clearly to Finance, Support, Tech and Fraud teams and ensure timely escalation when higher authorisation is required.

Required profile

• 1+ years of hands‑on experience in payment operations, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention or risk operations (FinTech/iGaming/E‑commerce).
• Practical knowledge of transactional risk analysis, deposit/withdrawal flows and chargeback exposure.
• Experience with alert‑based risk consoles or payment back‑office systems in high‑volume environments.
• Strong ability to multitask, prioritise urgent alerts and make fast, evidence‑based decisions under pressure.
• Upper‑Intermediate English and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights.
