Operations Manager

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily office operations, support senior management in business development, and ensure efficient administrative processes in Tbilisi.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and continuity.
• Coordinate administrative functions such as travel arrangements, meeting organization, and documentation processes.
• Support senior management in identifying, evaluating, and developing new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, contracts, and commercial documentation.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, client meetings, and official visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, marketing, or a customer‑facing commercial role.
• Good English communication skills; Russian and French are desired.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends.
• High level of self‑motivation, proactive problem‑solving, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar tools.
