Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our end‑to‑end warehousing and distribution logistics network. The role will oversee product development, manufacturing processes and the day‑to‑day activities of several operational departments, ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement product strategy and support R&D of new offerings.
• Set production and quality standards, develop budgets, and monitor cost controls.
• Design manufacturing process plans covering personnel, materials, subcontractors, facilities, tooling and equipment.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities with internal functions and external suppliers to optimise resource utilisation.
• Review production reports, resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues to minimise costs and delays.
• Manage administrative tasks related to shop operations, including data collection and reporting.
• Supervise up to five subordinate supervisors and over 50 employees across Special Projects, Shipping & Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large operational teams in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to develop and optimise manufacturing process plans and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills to address production and maintenance challenges.
• Leadership experience supervising multiple supervisors and ensuring compliance with company, government and customer regulations.
