Mobile SDET – Test Automation Engineer

About the role

TradingView is looking for a Mobile SDET to own the quality of its iOS and Android applications. You will build and maintain test automation infrastructure, enable product teams to ship confidently, and help shape the testing standards across the mobile stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks, and reporting for iOS and Android.
• Define and evolve standards for writing automated tests, including code style, patterns, and review processes.
• Maintain a unified testing framework with reusable components such as helpers, page objects, and fixtures.
• Assist product teams with complex UI scenarios, flaky tests, and advanced automation challenges.
• Integrate quality tools like Allure TestOps, analytics, and observability across teams.
• Develop and improve Fastlane/Ruby pipelines for mobile CI/CD.
• Mentor developers and QA engineers on automation best practices.
• Research, pilot, and roll out new mobile QA tooling for performance, accessibility, and test management.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Mobile SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with iOS (XCUITest, XCTest) and Android (Espresso, JUnit) automation.
• Proficient in Swift and Kotlin for writing maintainable test code.
• Experience with Ruby and Fastlane for mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of mobile testing methodologies and the test pyramid.
• Ability to diagnose and reduce flakiness in mobile test suites.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across QA, product, and engineering.
