Loss Prevention Shift Leader

About the role

The Loss Prevention Shift Leader is responsible for safeguarding assets, ensuring guest safety, and maintaining secure operations across the property. This full‑time, onsite position requires vigilant monitoring, quick response to incidents, and strong coordination with staff and emergency services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct key‑control audits, monitor electronic key boxes, and manage master keys, radios, and beepers.
• Patrol all areas of the property, assist guests with room access, and enforce security protocols.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and report vehicle accidents or thefts.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all documentation.
• Support management by training staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion of work.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 50 lb (assistance for heavier items).
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make rapid decisions during emergencies.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and external responders.
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.
