Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our property in Batumi. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Prepare incident reports, shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents/thefts and call for external assistance as needed.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Operating CCTV and alarm monitoring systems.
• First aid and CPR certification or ability to administer emergency care.
• Incident reporting and documentation.
• Basic computer usage for data entry and report generation.
