Lead Graphic Designer

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking an experienced Lead Graphic Designer to drive creative quality and AI‑powered production workflows across its global social entertainment products. You will lead a remote design team, mentor designers, and ensure high‑impact visual assets for performance marketing and user acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the graphic design team, maintaining high creative standards.
• Review, approve, and provide feedback on internal and freelance design output.
• Work hands‑on on complex or high‑priority design tasks.
• Continuously improve design production workflows using AI tools and automation.
• Mentor designers to enhance both design craft and AI fluency.
• Maintain consistent brand standards across all visual assets.
• Collaborate with producers, marketers, and requesters to align on creative needs.
• Produce high‑volume performance creatives for paid acquisition campaigns.
• Oversee landing page visuals, email designs, social media creatives, banners, and brand assets.
• Ensure all outputs are optimized for digital channels and performance goals.
• Help establish scalable creative processes, templates, and production standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of graphic and web design experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI tools into production workflows with measurable speed or quality gains.
• Proven ability to build or improve scalable production systems (templates, modular asset frameworks, AI‑assisted pipelines).
• Track record of reducing production cycle time or unit cost through automation.
• Experience in fast‑paced environments such as startups, scale‑ups, high‑volume agencies, or performance‑driven in‑house teams.
• Background in performance marketing / user acquisition environments.
