IT Infrastructure Innovation Engineer

About the role

Join the IT Infra Innovation Tech team at Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) to drive next‑generation networking and infrastructure solutions for an EV mass‑production plant. You will design, implement, and maintain cutting‑edge technologies that support manufacturing, automation, logistics, and quality systems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify requirements and build new IT infrastructure components and applications.
• Deploy and support P‑5G, Wi‑Fi 6, VMware vSphere, Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux‑based servers.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on infrastructure service metrics.
• Integrate and optimise virtualization platforms for high availability.
• Develop scripts and automation to streamline infrastructure processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable IT services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and infrastructures.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex projects.

Required skills

• Linux server administration and troubleshooting.
• Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V.
• Container platforms: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Networking: P‑5G, Wi‑Fi 6.
• Scripting/programming: Shell, Python, SQL.
• Database experience: MariaDB, Oracle, MSSQL, Tibero.
• Monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus.
