Full-Time Night RN – Med Surg

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to join a high‑impact, multi‑campus care team in a flexible float position covering night shifts. The role involves delivering evidence‑based nursing care from assessment through evaluation while fostering a safe, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, evidence‑based nursing care ensuring exemplary patient outcomes.
• Establish meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, shared governance, and continuous quality improvement.
• Plan proactively for patient care, develop protocols, and ensure efficient resource use.
• Mentor fellow nurses and interdisciplinary team members, supporting professional growth.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license (single or multi‑state compact) with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2+ years recent Med Surg experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical‑thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Familiarity with 3M systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and basic technology tools.
• Data entry skills.
