Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Forklift Operator works the 2nd shift in a DHL eCommerce warehouse, handling shipping and receiving tasks, breaking down freight, and ensuring accurate documentation of pack‑slips and Bills of Lading.

Key responsibilities

• Successfully complete the Forklift Training Certification program.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and by hand.
• Stock inventory, palletize goods, and scan inbound and outbound shipments.
• Log driver information and seal numbers in the appropriate logs.
• Complete daily forklift safety checklists.
• Adapt to alternate operational areas as business needs require.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Basic math skills for counting and simple addition/subtraction.
• Physical ability to walk, push, pull and lift up to 50 lb.
