Facility Management Electrical Specialist

About the role

The Facility Management Electrical Specialist will support the supervision and management of electrical works for Hyundai Motor Group's Metaplant Americas project during its construction phase. This role bridges the owner’s side with design and construction contractors to ensure schedule compliance and adherence to Hyundai standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support supervision and management of electrical works on the Metaplant Americas construction site.
• Assist electrical design contractors and ensure installation aligns with Hyundai Motor Group standards and schedule.
• Perform technical and economic construction management to meet design and construction requirements.
• Develop and maintain maintenance plans, cost estimates, and business plans for electrical facilities post‑construction.
• Plan, order, and oversee expansion, repair, or replacement of electrical systems in line with company policy.
• Create and manage project documentation and ensure proper record‑keeping.
• Prioritize objectives, implement strategies, and drive cross‑functional collaboration for scalable solutions.
• Develop architectural plans, select materials and techniques, and conduct financial feasibility studies.
• Monitor and supervise on‑site electrical construction companies.
• Fulfill any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of electrical or engineering experience as a site manager or engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the electrical industrial sector within the United States.
• Experience in construction management and electrical facility maintenance in the automotive industry.
• State‑approved electrical license preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• AutoCAD.
