Distribution Operations Intern

About the role

The Distribution Operations Intern will join JM Family’s logistics team for a full‑time, fall‑semester internship. You will gain hands‑on experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and data analysis while supporting daily tasks and larger projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily warehouse operations and specific role‑related tasks.
• Support ongoing projects and contribute to team initiatives.
• Perform research and data analysis as needed.
• Use Manhattan WMS to investigate inventory discrepancies and improve accuracy.
• Conduct cycle counts, inventory research, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Operate material handling equipment safely in support of warehouse activities.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree‑seeking program at an accredited institution.
• Completed at least one semester of coursework.
• Preferred fields of study: Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management (other related fields considered).
• Available to work full‑time during the 2026 Fall semester.

Required skills

• Experience with Manhattan WMS (warehouse management system).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
