DevOps / SRE Engineer (Mid-Level) – Hybrid

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps / SRE Engineer to own daily operation, maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of our production infrastructure in a fast‑growing B2B SaaS startup powering loyalty infrastructure for iGaming platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and operation of AWS production infrastructure, including Kubernetes/EKS and Terraform.
• Managing autoscaling with Karpenter, resource allocation and cluster capacity.
• Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.
• Monitoring production systems, troubleshooting incidents and performing root‑cause analysis.
• Building internal automation using Python and reducing manual operational work.
• Ensuring infrastructure security, IAM, networking, backup and recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience operating production infrastructure and taking ownership of issues.
• Proactive attitude to identify problems before tickets are raised.
• System‑oriented mindset, understanding interactions between infrastructure components.
• Automation‑driven, constantly seeking to replace manual tasks with scripts or tools.
• Reliable and able to respond quickly to critical incidents.
• Innovative, exploring new tooling and approaches.
• Independent, capable of investigating and solving problems without constant direction.
