CT Technologist (Non Registered)

About the role

This position involves performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures while prioritizing patient safety, image quality, and equipment upkeep. The technologist works closely with patients to ensure proper preparation, clear communication, and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high‑quality diagnostic images following safety standards.
• Prepare patients, obtain clinical histories, and manage contrast media administration when required.
• Verify patient identity and adhere to infection‑control and sterile techniques.
• Assist in emergency situations and maintain equipment functionality.
• Contribute to quality control by calibrating equipment and ensuring acceptable image production.
• Document procedures accurately and handle routine departmental tasks such as patient transport and supply management.
• Participate in departmental training and communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Required profile

• Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT‑R Radiography, BLS, ARC‑BLS, BLS‑Instructor.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently with strong critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
