CT Technologist – High-Quality Imaging

About the role

The CT Technologist performs high‑quality computed tomography imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. The role includes obtaining clinical histories, explaining procedures using the AIDET protocol, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure smooth departmental workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Obtain clinical histories and explain procedures using the AIDET communication protocol.
• Position patients, administer contrast agents via venipuncture, and review images for diagnostic quality.
• Document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS systems and maintain equipment according to infection‑control protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support departmental workflow by organizing tasks and collaborating with colleagues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least one year of radiology experience.
• Current ARRT‑R (Radiography) and ARRT‑CT (Computed Tomography) certifications.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
