Country Manager – Georgia

About the role

The Country Manager for Georgia will lead all business operations, drive market growth and ensure organizational excellence for Surbana Jurong’s SMEC division in the country.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor business performance through KPIs, ensuring operational efficiency, quality delivery and profitability.
• Develop and execute a country strategy aligned with global objectives and local market dynamics.
• Provide leadership to cross‑functional teams and represent the company with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to headquarters, ensuring cost optimisation and compliance.
• Support business development initiatives, identify new market opportunities, partnerships and client segments, and contribute to proposals and bids.
• Maintain a strong network of industry contacts and represent the company at key local events.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with experience managing cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Fluency in English and Russian, both written and spoken.
• Deep understanding of Georgia’s regulatory, economic and cultural environment.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
