Buyer – Procurement & Inventory Management

About the role

The Buyer is responsible for procuring quality goods and services that meet LATICRETE’s cost, quality, and delivery objectives while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role works closely with Planning, Operations, Finance, and Supplier partners to execute procurement plans driven by demand signals and MRP.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adjust stocking models based on demand forecasts, lead times, logistics, and supplier capabilities (35% of time).
• Identify inventory risks such as potential stockouts and communicate mitigation options.
• Maintain purchasing master data, including lead times, order multiples, and safety stock.
• Execute MRP action messages, create and manage purchase orders, and coordinate inbound logistics to meet demand (30% of time).
• Track order status, confirm acknowledgments, and resolve day‑to‑day supplier issues related to price, delivery, or invoicing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure supply continuity and compliance with company policies.
