Business Development Representative (BDR) – Industrial Software / CMMS

About the role

Uptenix is looking for a proactive Business Development Representative to introduce its plant‑ready CMMS platform to manufacturing, industrial and facility‑management teams. You will identify prospects, start conversations about maintenance challenges and arrange product demonstrations for qualified leads.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective customers in manufacturing, industrial operations and facility management.
• Initiate outreach via LinkedIn, email, phone and other channels.
• Discuss maintenance planning, unplanned downtime, asset history, inspections and CMMS workflows.
• Qualify opportunities and schedule discovery calls and product demos.
• Maintain organized records of outreach activity, notes and follow‑ups.
• Provide market feedback to help refine Uptenix’s messaging and product.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken Georgian and English.
• Professional communication skills with confidence initiating B2B conversations.
• Interest in manufacturing, maintenance, industrial operations or B2B software.
• Organised, self‑driven attitude and willingness to learn a technical product.
• Experience in business development, sales, customer success or other client‑facing roles is a plus.
