Brand Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a Brand Strategist to lead the development of Basil Health’s brand and founder narrative. Working closely with the founder and leadership team, you will translate complex neuroscience and AI concepts into clear, compelling brand stories that resonate with our target audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine Basil Health’s brand strategy, positioning, target audience definition, differentiation, and value proposition.
• Conduct market, consumer, and competitive research and turn insights into strategic decisions.
• Create a comprehensive messaging architecture covering brand narrative, tone of voice, and messaging across website, product, sales, and partnership touchpoints.
• Simplify technical concepts such as EEG, neuroscience, and AI into credible, engaging stories.
• Collaborate directly with the founder to build a distinctive founder brand, including thought‑leadership content and public communication strategy.
• Define strategic direction for content and brand campaigns, providing briefs to creative and agency partners.
• Support go‑to‑market and brand launch initiatives in partnership with leadership and marketing.
• Partner cross‑functionally with product, research, regulatory, sales, partnerships, and design to ensure consistent brand execution.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in brand strategy, strategic planning, brand consulting, creative strategy, positioning, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven track record of developing or repositioning brands or products.
• Ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working directly with senior leadership.
