Android Developer – Mobile Banking App

About the role

Andersen is looking for an Android Developer to join a team building a modern mobile banking application for a leading financial institution. The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable digital financial services to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance native Android applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Design and implement robust architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) with Jetpack components such as Compose, ViewModel, Navigation, Room and WorkManager.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services using Retrofit, OkHttp and JSON serialization libraries.
• Implement asynchronous data processing and lifecycle‑aware state management with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Build offline‑first data storage solutions with Room, SQLite and DataStore, ensuring efficient synchronization.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration and UI tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply Android security best practices, including secure storage, certificate pinning and performance profiling.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and solid working knowledge of Java.
• Deep understanding of modern Android/Jetpack architecture and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
