Accountant

About the role

New Life Georgia is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Tbilisi. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s day‑to‑day financial operations in a professional and ethical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the company’s accounting records in line with international financial reporting standards.
• Execute daily local and international bank transfers and related operations.
• Manage expense recording according to the company’s accounting system.
• Record revenues from bank, terminal and cash sources, categorised by patients and annexes.
• Perform bank postings and ensure timely financial operations with partner companies.
• Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations (profit, income tax, VAT).
• Compile and send annual financial statements.
• Maintain inventory of material stocks and core assets, ensuring proper control.
• Oversee accounting documentation management and monitoring.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, accounting or business administration.
• Minimum two years of experience in an accountant role.
• Experience in a medical institution is a plus.
• English proficiency at least B2 level; Russian is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of tax legislation.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible, organized and able to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the 1C accounting software.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and general MS Office suite.
