Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

EPAM Georgia is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate a global, resilient cloud platform. You will work remotely from anywhere in Georgia, collaborating with product and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a distributed, highly available AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Write and maintain secure Kubernetes manifests, including pod security contexts, anti‑affinity rules, network policies, autoscaling, and health probes.
• Drive Production Readiness Reviews covering security, HA, performance, and observability.
• Implement multi‑layer workload isolation with Linux namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, and capabilities; evaluate gVisor and Firecracker for strong tenant boundaries.
• Develop and extend internal k6‑based load‑testing framework, create load scenarios, and integrate custom metrics into Grafana.
• Maintain Grafana dashboards, manage Prometheus and VictoriaMetrics pipelines, and define alert thresholds with runbooks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals and cloud‑native architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Fluent English (B2+).
