Telehealth Psychiatric Physician Assistant – Eating Disorders (Remote)

About the role

Equip is seeking a board‑certified Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join its fully virtual eating‑disorder treatment program. The PA will provide psychiatric assessment and medication management to children and adults with eating disorders through a 100 % telehealth platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients with eating disorders and co‑occurring psychiatric conditions.
• Provide consultation and assessment services to external psychiatric providers.
• Design and implement medication treatment plans in a virtual clinic setting.
• Assess medical risk related to eating‑disorder behaviours and its impact on psychiatric care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes therapists, dietitians, peer and family mentors, and outside providers.
• Use between‑session messaging and the company EMR to document care and communicate with the team.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing learning opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Physician Assistant.
• Active state license (or willingness to obtain licensure in additional states, with costs covered by Equip).
• Commitment to evidence‑based care and continuous professional development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a virtual environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
