Team Leader / Senior Civil Engineer

About the role

Surbana Jurong is looking for an experienced Team Leader / Senior Civil Engineer to oversee water and irrigation infrastructure projects. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring design quality, and delivering projects that meet international standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project implementation.
• Review and supervise civil and water infrastructure designs.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, contractual obligations, and project schedules.
• Provide leadership in construction management, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination.
• Monitor project progress, quality assurance, and risk management during execution.
• Facilitate communication with clients, contractors, and international funding institutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in supervision or management of similar infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience as a Team Leader or Project Manager on at least two donor/IFI‑funded projects (e.g., World Bank, EIB, EU, ADB).
